Ten Days of Reflection

Between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, we pause to evaluate our actions and relationships. This sacred interval encourages personal growth, repentance, and kindness, guiding us toward deeper spiritual awareness and meaningful change.

Ten Days of Teshuvah

The Ten Days of Teshuvah begin with Rosh Hashanah and culminate on Yom Kippur, inviting Jews to engage in self-reflection and transformation. Teshuvah, often translated as “repentance,” literally means “return,” reminding us to realign with our highest values. During this period, we assess relationships, seek forgiveness from those we have harmed, and extend compassion to ourselves and others.

At CBSRZ, we encourage members to embrace these days as a chance for honest dialogue, apology, and growth. By the time Yom Kippur arrives, we enter the day better prepared for atonement and renewal.
