Honoring Tradition with Dignity and Care

The CBSRZ Cemetery Association Inc. is a 501(c)(13) nonprofit religious organization that owns and maintains two cemeteries: Rodfe Zedek in Moodus and Fountain Hill in Deep River.

The Moodus cemetery follows Conservative/Orthodox traditions, reflecting its history with the Rodfe Zedek synagogue. Fountain Hill, operated as a Reform cemetery, accepts cremains and recently expanded to offer additional plots.

The Association operates independently from CBSRZ, with its own nine-member Board of Directors and bylaws. Copies of the cemetery bylaws, regulations, and care agreements are available through the CBSRZ office.

The Association is committed to maintaining respectful and inclusive burial practices in accordance with Jewish tradition.
