Havdalah, Selichot Service, Movie & Discussion

Join us at 6:00 PM as we gather for an evening of reflection, learning, and community in preparation for the High Holy Days.

Our evening begins with Havdalah, marking the close of Shabbat, followed by our meaningful Selichot service. Through prayer, music, and reflection, we begin the journey of self-examination, repentance, and renewal that leads us into the High Holy Day season. The service will include the traditional changing of the Torah mantles to white, participation by the CBSRZ Choir, and the beautiful melodies of the High Holy Days.

Following the service, we will continue our longstanding CBSRZ tradition with a screening of the documentary Hava Nagila: The Movie, an engaging look at the history, meaning, and global journey of one of Judaism’s most beloved songs. A lively discussion will follow the film.
